This New App Will Tell You How Long Your Current Relationship Is Going to Last

10 Secret Phone Features You’ll Start Using Right Away (July 2019).

Though we're all likely conscious, at least to a degree, of some of the signs that can indicate involvement in a toxic relationship, self-awareness can be a real b, and recognizing/admitting to those red flags in our own relationships might be beyond some of our capabilities.

That's exactly what a new app called StayGo is hoping to remedy.

Designed to analyze your relationship (or blossoming one, if you just met through one of these seven dating apps) through a mix of "scientific relationship scoring" (based on your own feedback of your partner) and the feedback of your invited friends and family members, this app claims to be able to tell you if you're with the right person or simply "wasting your time."

With a group of psychology professors and relationship scientists behind it, the app works by first asking you questions about your current partner (or partners) in 20 different categories before providing you with a relationship score between 1 and 100.

From there, you can ask your friends and family members to participate by rating your relationship, but be warned — responses are completely anonymous, so you might get more than you bargained for (do you really want to know what Aunt Peggy thinks?)!

In addition, you can also keep track of your relationships' ups and downs, "like a FitBit for your love life," by answering a short series of daily questions to show you your relationship's progress in real time.

Open to users in both new and long-term relationships alike, company CEO Jim Casey was quoted in a press release for the app as saying, "Whether it confirms that feeling in your heart that you're with the right person or that feeling in your gut that you're not, StayGo allows users to finally make informed decisions about their love lives."

With an update planned for June that will also allow unbiased StayGo community members to weight in, StayGo partner Dr. Gary Lewandowski said in the same release that "StayGo gives you a new perspective." He went on to add that "It can help you evaluate your relationship, learn the likelihood of success and know if you're with the right person."

Interesting, indeed!
